Akash Jha
Software engineer, author, and lifelong learner. I write for people who build things for a living and quietly wonder what it is doing to their attention.
My first career taught me systems: how they fail, how they recover, and how small defaults shape enormous outcomes. My second career — writing — began when I noticed the same laws governing my own days.
The Monk Who Knew The Code grew out of that overlap. It is a story about an engineer and a monk, but really it is a manual for anyone who has ever finished a long day of work and could not remember a single thing they thought about.
Today I write about focus, mindfulness, Indian contemplative traditions and conscious smartphone use — always practical, never preachy. I am currently working on The Focus Code.
